This was the organization set up prior to the Luftwaffe
to train pilots to avoid restrictions set up after WW1

Rare early-1930's production NSKK / NSFK belt buckle.
Very similar to NSDAP or SA belt buckle design, this NSKK buckle differed
in that the face of the buckle is pebbled and is a matte silver in color.
This buckle was used for only a short time until they NSKK designed a buckle
for themselves that was unique to the group and much easier to identify.
This is a two prong catch design and is unmarked with a soldered wire loop.
The center of the buckle features the early droop winged SA eagle on a wreath
with a rotated swastika at center.
The buckle itself is 1 piece not including the fastening hardware.
NOTE:
This type and model buckle is discussed and pictured in the two references
of WW2 / Nazi belt buckles, Belt Buckles & Brocades of the Third Reich by J.R. Angolia,
and German Belt Buckles 1845-1945 by P. Nash.

the obverse with a pebbled field, with a central raised field depicting a
spade with a mobile swastika on the blade, surrounded by a circular field
decorated with five wheat stalks, attached to the reverse via four prongs,
the reverse hollow, with an integrated catch and a double-claw spring bar,

Constructed of stamped metal (magnetic) with a grey painted finish; the obverse with a large crowned eagle perched atop a shield featuring the standard Stahlhelm motif; the reverse plain with standard double-claw prongs and a catch on the reverse; measuring 63 mm x 47 mm; light chipping to the paint; in overall very fine condition.

DESCRIPTION:
Brass base is nearly perfect, shows almost all
silver frosting to the center roundel.
Rarely encountered in this condition.
DESCRIPTION: Stamped,Hollow backed, metal badge,
features a central canted swastika flanked by diagonally
angled sheaves of wheat with a superimposed banner with
embossed initials, 'RADwj' to the bottom. The badge shows nice
detailing including cut-outs to the arms of the swastika.
The reverse has a small soldered hinge a round horizontal pin and catch.
The RADwJ War Helpers Service badge was worn on the left lapel by all eligible personnel.

Against the white enamel backdrop of the oval is a black, stylized eagle, articulated in silver, with "D.D.A.C.," also in silver, across its breast, and in whose talons is clutched the translucent red, circular surround to a black, mobile swastika. Both the swastika and its surround are also edged in silver. All enclosed by a dual oval, the innermost translucent red, the other black, each edged in silver. To the center of the spray of laurels to its base is a small rectangle with "1934," in black, against it. Extending from a circular base to the reverse is 50mm rifled pin. Maker marked to reverse.

Johannes "Macky" Steinhoff (15 September 1913 - 21 February 1994) was a Luftwaffe fighter ace during World War II, German general, and NATO official. He was one of very few Luftwaffe pilots who survived to fly operationally through the whole of the war period 1939-45 until he was severely burned during a failed take-off. Steinhoff was also one of the highest-scoring pilots with 176 victories, and one of the first to fly the Messerschmitt Me 262 jet fighter in combat as a member of the Jagdverband 44 squadron led by Adolf Galland. Steinhoff was decorated with the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves and Swords, and later received the Grand Cross of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany and several foreign awards including the American Legion of Merit and the French Legion of Honor. He played a role in the so-called Fighter Pilots' Revolt late in the war, when several senior air force officers confron

Erich Alfred Hartmann (19 April 1922 -20 September 1993) was a German fighter pilot during World War II and the most successful fighter ace in the history of aerial warfare. He flew 1,404 combat missions and participated in aerial combat on 825 separate occasions. He was credited with shooting down a total of 352 Allied aircraft: 345 Soviet and 7 American while serving with the Luftwaffe. During his career, Hartmann was forced to crash-land his fighter 16 times after either mechanical failure or damage received from parts of enemy aircraft he had shot down; he was never shot down by direct enemy action.

History:
The Schalburgkorps was a Danish volunteer army corps and a branch of the Germanic SS.
It was named after Christian Frederik von Schalburg, commander of the Freikorps Denmark
who was killed in action in the Demyansk Pocket in 1942.
The Danish Germanic-SS was formed on February 2, 1943. On March 30 the corps
was renamed the Schalburgkorps. It was officially disbanded on February 28, 1945.
Description:
Unissued Italian SS EM/NCO eagle sleeve insignia, white embroidered stitching on Black
cloth backed with gray green cloth. Appears to have blood staining on reverse side.
Fine condition.
NOTE:
Recently new information has surface about this style of Italian SS eagle.
The exact same eagle has been seen with a paper label attached on verso
from the Italian firm 'VeDeMe', Milan. This firm 'VeDeMe, Industrie Riunite Venegoni,
De Capitani e Menini' an acronym for the owners Venegoni -De Capitani - Menini,
specializing in the production of banners, signs, and badges of high-quality during
the war years, thus providing evidence that this style of SS eagle was produced during the war.

The roughly, 65mm tall, 55mm wide, black wool construction flat topped, rounded bottom, shield shape base features three machine embroidered horizontal bars in the Dutch national colors of orange, white and royal blue, on a black wool, shield shaped, base.

German manufactured, officially sanctioned, fifth and final pattern, sleeve shield for Latvian volunteers serving in the Waffen-SS. Black wool construction flat topped, rounded, pointed tipped, bottom, shield shape base features a machine embroidered red shield with a pointed bottom tip with a central white diagonal bar and white script, "Latvija" to the top.
This is the more often encountered 'slanted shield'. no glow under UV Light.
