This particular badge was for the Nationalsocialistische Lehrerbund.
It was given to so called 'Alte Kampfer' (Old Fighters) that attended
the first NSLB meeting in 1933 that was held in Lubeck after Hit-ler
took power. The design depicts the Holstentor in Lubeck, remains
in excellent ++ condition with some great patina.
A very rare badge that is seldom seen for sale.

Die struck zinc-alloy base that has been silver washed & Darkened
The round shaped obverse depicts the torso of three men holding
a four stepped pedestal above their heads, which has a national eagle
(with outstretched wings clutching a wreathed swastika in its talons)
to the top-center and a grape vine (left) and sheaf of wheat (right).
All of this is above 'Reichsparteitag 1937'.
The full back reverse is maker marked Grebr. Trautz, Pforzheim.,
and has a well working, horizontally crimped on, steel pin assembly.
Measures 1 -3/4 inches in diameter.

WW2 German KDF Gau Franken tinnie.
Size approx 1- 3/8 inches in height.
Description:
This KDF Gau Franken Pin is a nice, clean example of a fairly scarce Tinnie.
Made out of Aluminum, and is likely an early piece, from the 1930s.
The obverse features a stylized depiction of the Aussichtsturm Frankenwarte
tower in Wurzburg (the capital of Gau Franken), which was built in 1894.
Superimposed on the tower are the organizational emblem of the 'Kraft durch Freude'
organization, with a DAF emblem and stylized Swastika, as well as the wording 'K.d.F. Gau Franken.'

Gold washed Bronze variant commemorative version.
Badge is in the form of a vertical rectangle with embossed
outer border and an embossed, downward pointing broad sword
with an oak-leaf wreath encompassing a static swastika superimposed
on the hilt of the sword, all on a slightly pebbled background field.
Background field has embossed script, 'NS I. Reichs Jugendtag',
(National Socialist 1st National Youth Day), with a smooth field banner
to bottom with impressed date, '1932'.
Strong vertical pin back device is intact to reverse.

DESCRIPTION:
Roughly, 40mm diameter, die struck, two piece alloy construction badge
with a fire gilted finish and enamel work. The badge is in the form
of a vertical Tyr-rune with a superimposed circular field with embossed
runic style script, 'Fur Leistungen in der HJ', (For Proficiency in the HJ),
on a slightly textured background field, encompassing an embossed canted swastika.
The Tyr-rune and central circular field are mounted on a larger circular base with
an embossed laurel leaf wreath to the outside edge encircling an underlying black enamel field.
The slightly convexed reverse has a solid, soldered hinge, a tapered vertical pin and a
heavy soldered catch all intact. The reverse is well marked a large 'B' for replacement Award & an embossed
RZM logo manufacturers RZM code, 'M1/101', indicating manufacture by Gustav Brehmer Markneukirchen.

for a healthier work force. It is constructed out of an injection molded
bakelite base that has been bronze painted. The round shaped obverse
features a running man and woman (behind the man), in front of a DAF emblem
(mobile swastika surrounded by a cog wheel) surrounded by
'Sportappell Der Betriebe 1939'. The full back reverse is maker marked:
'Richard Sieper & Sohne RZM M9/25 L?denscheid'
and has a molded on well working pin assembly.
It measures approximately 15/16 of an inch wide.

Constructed out of die stamped steel base that has been bronze washed.
The round shaped obverse depicts an eagle with outstretched wings clutching
a wreathed swastika, with a building from the city of Aachen displayed under,
and on either side of the wreathed swastika. To the border of the bottom half
reads 'Kreistag-Aachen-Stadt-Land', while directly under the wreathed swastika
reads '1937'. The hollow back reverse has a well working, vertically soldered on,
steel pin assembly.
Size: approx. 1 -7/16 inches in diameter.
