A very scarce anti-Partisan badge (or Bandenkampfabzeichen),
C.E. Juncker, Berlin / Juncker setup and flat wire catch &
Semi-Hollow back variant with wide vertical pin, unmarked.
2 x 2.25 in., crafted in Bronze alloyed or Zinc metal.
Die-stamped -no casting marks.
does not feature any cracks as is often the case for the type of award.
Note:
This type of badge is usually called the 2nd type and was believed to have been made by the M.u.Ks.
Group of firms (Though in one book it is now believed to be C E Juncker of berlin that made all the different types)
The Anti-Partisan War Badge was issued in three grades being in :
Bronze, for 20 days combat.
Silver, for 50 days combat.
Gold, for 150 days combat.
This variant is one of the most desirable of all World War II badges. The Bandenkampfabzeichen,
with its Hydra-as-partisan symbolism, was given out to members of the army, SS, Luftwaffe and
so forth for participating in security warfare.

Constructed of bronze, both sides with a NSDAP-style German national eagle
clutching a mobile swastika and a Grecian profile, circumscribed by an inscription
of 'AUSGESTELLT IM HAUS DER DEUTSCHEN KUNST 1940'
('EXHIBITED IN THE HOUSE OF GERMAN ART 1940'), with red and white threaded
string loop through the tag, unmarked, measuring 32 mm in diameter, in better than very fine condition.

BACKGROUND: The political version of the cap Edelweiss
was worn by many different organizations during the Third Reich
period. NSDAP, HJ and SA to name a few.
Specialized unit within these organization were permitted to wear
the Edelweiss on either kepis, field caps or overseas caps.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Two piece, alloy construction.
Stemless edelweiss features nine extended irregular petals.
The reverse of the badge is complete with both attachment prongs.
The edelweiss has no visible manufacturers marks. Scarce.
The insignia consists of a single, "V" shaped, machine woven,
bright, silver/aluminum, diamond patterned, tress chevron,
machine stitched on blue/green badge cloth base.
Mint Cond.
Machine woven breast eagle with out-stretched wings in bright,
silver/aluminum flat-wire threads on an inverted, woven, green rayon,
triangular base. The insignia is in Mint, unissued, condition and still
has its original green rayon factory roll edging. Scarce NCO/Officers M44 breast eagle.

Army/Waffen-SS Flak Badge by Gustav Brehmer.
Zinc-based badge by one of the rarest makers of these badges.
The zinc version with square wire catch that Marc Garlasco shows
in his addendum to his flak badge books seems to be the twin to this one
with regards to the silver/copper finish. The copper seen is where the silver
has worn exposing the copper flashing that has been applied over the base
zinc to seal it for the silver to better bond with the badge.
Edges of Die-Stamped badge (as shown in last two photos) are straight and clean NOT CASTED
NEAR MINT COND.

The German Navy insignia consists of a white, rayon, half-moon shaped base with a Navy Blue,

The eagles wingspan is roughly, 24cm wide from wing tip to wing tip.

The MINT insignia consists of a roughly, 7.500 Inch wide, woven,
white, rayon, inverted triangular base with a black, machine woven,
second pattern, (circa 1936/1937-1945), Luftwaffe eagle, with out-stretched wings to the center.

The MINT insignia consists of a roughly, 14cm, 26cm wide, woven,
white, rayon, inverted triangular base with a black, machine woven,
second pattern, (circa 1936/1937-1945), Luftwaffe eagle, with out-stretched wings to the center.

The insignia consists of a white, rayon, half-moon shaped base with a black,

This is a very fine 'Sonderabzeichen fur das Niederkampfen von Panzerkraftwagen durch Einzelkampfer';
the tank badge on the Obverse is a Panzer MK IV and is constructed of blackened metal (magnetic); with
very crisp details; superimposed on a silver Celleon (cello) tight interwoven braid, edged on the top and
bottom sides by two black rayon strips. The badge is backed by a Brown wool backer;
measuring 87 mm x 29 mm; textbook example; in slightly worn condition has that 'been there appearance'.
