The Italian Republican National Guard ( Guardia onale Repubblicana , or GNR) was a paramilitary force of the Italian Social Republic created by decree on December 8, 1943, replacing the Carabinieri and the National Security Volunteer Militia (MVSN). General Renato Ricci appointed as its commandant . Major General Italian Romegiall was appointed vice commandant and Major General Nicolo Nicchiarelli became the chief of general staff. The GNR included former MVSN militiamen, police officers, and members of the Italian Africa Police (the PAIRS). On August 15, 1944, the Republican National Guard became a part of the army of the Italian Social Republic. Early date Hat or cap Insignia - F.G.C. !!!!
The F.G.C. was the Youth Movement from the earlier days,
that was eventually in 1937 incorporated into the G.I.L.
which was the later date Youth movement. So the Insignia
of the earlier F.G.C. is much more hard to find. This type of
badge was sewn onto the Cap of the Serving youth.
This Badge is very Large, please see the photos with the ruler.

the medal is given to mothers of at least 7 still living children
(in 1943 the number was reduced to 6) Each bow on the medal
represents a child, Struck by the royal mint Reggia Zecc.
The medal is in Excellent condition.
