This is a set of Luftwaffe Administration "Communications Specialist" Hauptmann Shoulder Boards with Original Buttons (Schulterstucke Hauptmann der Luftwaffenverwaltung "Fachkraft fur Nachrichtenubermittlung" mit Originalknopfen). This is a matching set of shoulder boards, each constructed of dark green wool with card stock cores, trimmed with brown piping, and topped by four bands of silver aluminum wire piping pinned with dual gilded bronze pips. The dual pips indicated the rank of Hauptmann or Captain. Both boards are slip-on, unmarked and measuring 34 mm (w) by 108 mm (l). They have been uniform removed and extremely fine condition.

This is the Luftwaffe "Geschwader Horst Wessel" Cuff Title (Luftwaffe Armelband "Geschwader Horst Wessel" fur Mannschaften und Unteroffiziere). This is an unissued Geschwader Horst Wessel EM/NCO's cuff title. It is constructed of dark blue wool, with the exterior bearing a machine-embroidered silver-gray inscription of "GESCHWADER HORST WESSEL" in Fraktur script. The reverse featuring a smooth cotton-blended black liner and unmarked. The cuff title does not glow under blacklight. It measures 42 mm (w) by 48.50 mm (l), and in mint condition.

This is the Luftschutz EM Aluminum Buckle - 26(2).52 (Luftschutzwarndienst (SHD) Koppelschloss). This buckle is the second pattern Luftschutz buckle, (circa May 1937-January 1939), die stamped, aluminum construction, box belt buckle with a matte silver/gray finish. The buckle features a smooth, outer field with a high relief, embossed Luftschutz emblem to the center. The Luftschutz emblem consists of stylized, outstretched wings with a central oak-leaf cluster with a canted swastika to the bottom and a scripted banner, "LUFTSCHUTZ," to the top. The reverse of the buckle is a mirror image of the obverse. The reverse has the brazed buckle catch, the prong bar and the prongs all intact. There are no maker marks to be found. Recently acquired from a private collection, a WWII German Luftwaffe Cased Pilot's Badge. Maker marked "B & N L". Extremely fine condition. An excellent example by this maker.

This is a set of Luftwaffe Signals Lieutenant Collar Tabs (Luftwaffe Paar Kragenspiegel eines Leutnant der Nachrichtentruppe). These are orange/brown wool collar tabs with a single hand embroidered "gull" and an oak-leaf half-wreath in silver/aluminum bullion threads. Tabs are piped in twisted silver/aluminum cord. The collar tabs are mounted on rubber card backings. These are unworn and still sewn together.

This is a Luftwaffe NCO Air Signals "B" Class Radio Operator's Trade Badge (Luftnachrichtenpersonal mit Funkprufung "B" Armabzeichen). This patch was worn by air communications personnel with radio operator's "B" rating arm badge. It has white transverse lightning, (a bundle of four jagged lightning bolts) pointing left and right. It is machine-embroidered on Luftwaffe gray cloth circle, with silver cord running around the outside indicating NCO ranks in unworn condition.

This is a Civil Defense Decoration 1938, Second Class (Luftschutz-Ehrenzeichen, II. Klasse Feinzink). This medal was instituted on 30 January 1938 (1938-1945 issue). It is constructed of silvered fine zinc, on a loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a circular oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, the obverse bearing a central mobile swastika, circumscribed by an inscription of "FUR VERDIENSTE IM LUFTSCHUTZ" ("FOR MERIT IN AIR DEFENCE"). The reverse bearing a raised date of "1938" and is the ring is marked, but I cannot make out the maker mark. The medal measures 38.58 mm (w) by 43.13 mm (h) and weighing 25.5 grams. For its age it is in extremely outstanding condition.

This is a set of Luftwaffe Flak Artillery EM's Shoulder Boards (Luftwaffe Paar Schulterstucke fur einen Mannschaften der Flak). These boards are sew-in Luftwaffe blue/gray construction with red wool branch service piping for flak. They are a matching pair in near mint condition.

This is a Luftwaffe NCO "Geschwader General Wever" Cuff Title (Luftwaffe Armelband "Geschwader General Wever" fur Mannschaften). This unit was named for Luftwaffe Commander Walther Wever, a prewar strategist. The "Geschwader General Wever" cuff title was authorized for this unit on 4 June 1936. This cuff title is the EM/NCO's pattern, woven navy blue wool cuff title with machine embroidered Gothic script, "Geschwader General Wever," in silvery/grey cotton threads. The cuff title is approximately 1.5" (40 mm) wide and 18.5" (47 cm) long. The cuff title has the top and bottom edges machine stitched down and has the typical opened back revealing the reverse of the embroidered script. This is in absolutely mint condition and very rare.
