This is a Wehrmacht Heer "Unteroffiziervorschule" NCO School Cuff Title (Wehrmacht Heer Armelband "Unteroffiziervorschule"). This German Army NCO School cuff title is a genuine period specimen. It is 17" (43 cm) in full length and 1.18" (30 mm) wide. The cuff title is bordered at both the top and bottom edges in vertically woven, bright, silver/aluminum flat-wire threads. The reverse of the cuff title has loosely woven, vertical, silver/aluminum flat-wire threads and shows the script in a green rayon mirror image. It has that typical mass of threads on the back so common with genuine period BeVo machine embroidery. It shows slight wear for any cuff title from this age, but it is still in excellent condition. Early, M36 pattern, machine woven breast eagle in white rayon threads on a cut-out,
woven blue/green rayon base. The eagle has small sections of its original blue/green
rayon factory roll edging and the reverse has a mid-green wool backing. These early
examples with the white eagle are getting tougher to find. Nice!
DESCRIPTION:
Machine embroidered national eagle with outstretched wings,.
clutching a wreathed, canted, swastika in its talons in silver/grey rayon threads,
positioned above a national tri-color cockade with a black outer circle encompassing
a white inner circle and a red center dot, on a loosely woven, brownish/field-grey rayon
trapezoidal base. The outer edge of the trapezoidal base has reinforcement stitching
in the same silver/grey threads as the eagle.
Product Description:
This Army Officer Breast Eagle is a nice example of the standard national eagle
emblem used on the field gray dress, service and field uniforms of German Army officers
from 1934 to 1945. It is intricately hand embroidered using 4 different styles of bullion wire,
on a backing of typical dark green wool badge cloth. The reverse of this eagle is backed with a thin Wax Paper.
Original sew holes are visible at the edges indication of a uniform removed insignia.
The countless hand stitches used to affix the bullion wire are visible on the reverse, as is typical.
This Army Officer Breast Eagle appears to have been removed from a uniform, is complete,
with only very slight age and wear, and no significant damage.
The condition rates as Excellent ++++
M33 pattern Heer (Army) breast eagle in flatwire BeVo construction.
Overall in MINT condition. These eagles were used for a Waffenrock parade jackets,
or to upgrade a regular Field Blouse. This example with green backing is one of 3 types,
the other examples would be tan or even blue. Great piece of early insignia!

leaves and stem all in rayon threads. The edelweiss is encompassed with
a simulated, pale grey rayon mountaineer rope border, with a silvery/grey piton to the top center.

This is a War Merit Cross 2nd Class With Swords with Award Document (Kriegsverdienstkreuz 2. Klasse mit Schwertern mit Verleihungsurkunde). The cross is made of buntmetal with a bronze color finish. Medal ring, suspension ring and correct rayon ribbon all intact. The ring is unmarked as to the maker. The cross is in great condition and shows only light signs of age and wear. The award document is a standard size dated "3.4 1942." It was awarded to Unteroffizier Heinrich Rohe who served in Feldlaz (mot) 131. The document is signed by a Generalleutnant. The document has a fold to the middle and a couple of stains to the upper right corner. Of interest, this KvK award document was awarded for a motorized "krankentrager!!" or motorized "ambulance!!"

This is a War Merit Cross 2nd Class With Swords 1939 (Kriegsverdienstkreuz 2. Klasse mit Schwertern). Die struck bronze, construction bravery award, with a bronze wash is in the form of a Maltese style cross with a circular centerpiece with an embossed, canted, swastika encircled by a nicely detailed oak-leaf wreath to the obverse. The reverse centerpiece has the embossed date,"1939", which is also encompassed by a nicely detailed oak-leaf wreath. The background field of both the obverse and reverse centerpieces is smooth while the arms of the cross have a pebbled background field with raised, smooth, outer edges. This is Wehrmacht Heer Officer's Parade Belt Buckle - 11(13).56 (Wehrmacht Heer Offiziers Paradefeldbindenschloss Aluminium). This buckle features a highly embossed oak-leaf wreath encompassing a central Wehrmacht, (Armed Forces), style eagle with down-swept wings, clutching a canted swastika in it's talons, on a subtlety textured, slightly domed, central field. The reverse of the buckle is a mirror image of the obverse and has a separate, circular plate insert with a crimped catch and retaining hook. This is the Wehrmacht Heer BERGKAUKASIEN Volunteer's Sleeve Shield (Wehrmacht Heer Armelschild fur Freiwillige Bergkaukasien bevo-gewebte Fertigung mit Schriftzug "Bergkaukasien"). This patch is machine woven and the second pattern sleeve insignia. It features a mid-blue shield with scalloped tipped top and fine black outer border. The center of the shield features three horses heads joined to a central circular base in bright yellow threads. The top edge of the shield has a black horizontal bar with bright yellow script, "BERGKAUKASIEN, (for the Caucasus Mountains). This is the Wehrmacht 1938 Ski Competition Badge (Abzeichen der "Deutsche u.Wehrmacht Ski-Meisterschaften 1938 Neustadt-Feldberg Schwarzwald"). This badge is a silvered bronze with red, blue, white and yellow enamels. It is maker-marked "B.H.MAYER, PFORZHEIM" for "B.H. Mayer's Kunstprageanstalt, Pforzheim Silberschmeid-Innungen, Hanau" on the reverse. The badge measures 24.2 mm by 36.5 mm and has a horizontal pin-back. This badge has had very light contact wear and is in near mint condition. I purchased it in 2017 from Mr. Klaus Butschek (DBA Ratisbon's @ Windorf).

This is a Wehrmacht Heer GEORGIEN Volunteer's Sleeve Shield in Gray (Wehrmacht Heer Armelschild fur Freiwillige Georgien). In December 1941 Hitler permitted three more foreign volunteer legions to be formed from non-ethnic Russian personnel with one legion being formed from the Georgian region of south west Russia. Shortly after formation, personnel serving in the Georgian Legion were issued an identifying national sleeve shield to be worn on the upper right sleeve of the field uniform. This patch is on a gray rayon base with screen printed pattern. The top edge of the shield has a black bar with White Latin script, "GEORGIEN." Green rayon constructed cufftitle, approximately 18 inches in length, with machine woven Gothic style script "Unteroffiziervorschule" in bright silver/aluminum flat wire threads. The reverse of the cufftitle has loosely woven silver/aluminum flat wire threads and shows the script in a green rayon mirror image. The overall condition is excellent with very minor age wear. A Verwundetenabzeichen in Schwarz 1939 by 65- Klein & Quenzer A.G. of Idar-Oberstein. All original black would badge exactly as found, great patina and shows regular wear. Neat to find these old badges with some character and actual wear. The hollow back reverse is maker marked: 65 and features the appropriate hinge and catch assembly. It measures 1 3/4 inches high by 1 1/2 inches wide. A beautiful example!

This is a Wehrmacht Heer Officer's Visor Cap Wreath & Cockade Set (Wehrmacht Heer Eichenlaubkranz fur die Offiziersschirmmutze Metallfaden handgestickt auf grun). This is a Heer Officer's visor cap wreath and cockade (transitional (1933-35)), consisting of a padded dark green wool base. The obverse bearing a central aluminum tricolor cockade situated within a silver aluminum wire hand-stitched oak leaf wreath. The reverse is unmarked and measuring 65 mm (w) by 42 mm (h). The cockade is missing one attachment prong and is uniform-removed. The wreath and cockade are better than very fine condition. Great set!

The obverse bearing a machine-embroidered silver aluminum wire Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika. The reverse is covered in a dark green wool and is unmarked. This sleeve patch constructed of yellow cotton, the obverse bearing a multicolored printed unit insignia, unmarked, measuring 72 mm (w) by 80 mm (h), in unissued and extremely fine condition. This is the Wehrmacht Heer Don Cossack Volunteer's Sleeve Shield on White Cotton (Wehrmacht - Armelabzeichen fur Freiwillige im Don Kosakenregiment). This is a printed, identifying sleeve shield consists of a flat topped, rounded bottom, field-gray, shield shape base with the central portion being divided into for equal quadrants with blue to each side and red to the top and bottom quadrants. The top field-gray edge of the shield has white, Cyrillic letters for Voysko Donskoye, (Don Tribe or Clan). The reverse is unmarked, measuring 66 mm (w) by 75 mm (h). This is an extremely scarce volunteer shield that is in unissued and near mint condition.

This is a Wehrmacht Commemorative Badge for the German Dog Care Table Medal with Original Case (Wehrmacht Nichttragbare Verdienstmedaille "Fur Verdienste um das Deutsche Hundewesen" 2. Modell, mit originalem Presentationskoffer). This is the Wehrmacht Medal of Merit "For services to the German dog being." It is the second model and made of polished iron. This is the small version with a diameter of 40 mm. On the front is the Wehrmacht eagle with the inscription "Awarded by the High Command of the Army," and on the reverse "For service to the German dog being" in the oak leaf wreath. It comes complete in the appropriate presentation case and is in excellent condition.

This is a stamped aluminum box NCO buckle with a right facing eagle. The face plate is affixed with four pins, which are all present. The buckle appears to be unmarked as the the maker. This buckle is discussed in "Belt, Buckles, & Brocades of the Third Reich - Revised Edition" by LTC J.R. Angolia (1st Edition), page 81. The buckle in excellent condition showing signs of honest wear. There is some rust to the cross member and prongs, but it remains a great buckle.

This is the Cross of Honor for a Combatant (Ehrenkreuz des Weltkrieges 1914/1918 fur einen Kampfer). This cross is affectionately known as "the Hindenburg Cross." It was one of the first awards given out after the rise of power of the Fuhrer. This cross is a bronze cross, the obverse shows a laurel wreath surrounding the dates 1914 and 1918 denoting service during the First World War, the reverse is smooth and unmarked. The buckle features a highly embossed oak-leaf wreath encompassing a

This patch is roughly 55 mm diameter, pre-1940 pattern, blue/green badge cloth base features a machine embroidered group of three serrated blitz style arrows which overlap each other at the center, in golden yellow celleon threads, with silver cord running around the outside indicating NCO ranks in unworn condition. It is super nice and would be hard to improve.

This is the Spanish Campaign Medal in the Original Box with Wrapper (Spanische Medaille `Medalla de la Campana in Original Verleihungspappschachtel). This medal was awarded to the German fighters (Legion Condor) of the Spanish Civil War, who fought on the side of Franco. This medal is a mint and unissued "Medalla de la Campana 1936-1939." It is a circular gilded and blackened bronze on a loop for suspension with its period original ribbon with a horizontal pinback attached. The obverse with a gilded half-wreath of laurel leaves on the right, and a half-wreath of oak leaves to the left, with a blackened, recessed center depicting a lion slaying a griffin with a hammer and sickle on its wing, all superimposed over four gilded swords oriented like a cross,

This is a Wehrmacht Heer Krim Shield (Krimschild 1941-1942, Feinzink auf feldgrauer Tuchunterlage, Ruckenplatte mit Papierabdeckung). This is a fine zinc Krim Shield on green Heer backing and is nonmetallic. The mounting frame is attached with four vertical pins still attached and not broken. The reverse is covered in a black paper and looks to have been worn. This shield is in great condition.
