Don't be fooled. It's easy to build a site that makes you look like a big time dealer. Just load it up with pics of rare militaria that you don't own and then mark it all "sold". The collectors will think you're a real player and be so impressed they'll keep coming back to see your latest treasure... Oops! Just missed out on that one too! We don't want our site to be like that. No dealer gets a lot of "rare" items. Why? Because they are rare. Try not to be too impressed by what you could "almost" buy. And please delete your ads when the items are sold.

EXTREMELY RARE! Last photo is of a mint unit I found to show you. WW2 German Selbstfahrlafetten-Zielfernrohr Sfl.Z.F. 1a/1 5x10 Gun Scope BOX, as used on various Assault Guns and Tank Destroyers! This SPECIFIC type was used on the JagdPzr. 38 "Hetzer", Sturmgeschutz StuG III/IV, JagdPzr. IV/70, and Sturmpanzer 43 "Brummbar"! Easily restored to accept the optic Panzer sight! A great display item and useful for storing Relics in STYLE! Having a magnification of 5x10?, this was the gunners main aiming scope. It featured an an aiming pattern consisting of 7 triangles laid in a horizontal row, each separated by 4 mils. Placing the target on the point of a triangle allowed the gunner to aim without obstructing his view of the target. The distances between triangles were used to lead moving targets. The triangle height and separation distances in mils were also used as an aid in estimating the range to a target. The sight was mounted to the left of the main gun with the head just protru

Something few vets found interesting or brought back. Africa was the first contact, and there was years ahead. Lugging around a couple pounds, did not fit the program. Grabbing up some insignia, a cool looking tan "ski cap", or a buckle (easily mailed home) was far more often done. What the Arabs did not scavenge, our military piled up and burned.

This example was acquired from a footlocker and was stuffed full of useless European money, nicnaks, and coins. Very rare late code and date marking. Red primer and very dark late paint very apparent on the steel parts. One of the very few which was never burned up! I seldom ever see one which isn't roasted in a campfire and most of the paint scorched off! Steel is in excellent overall condition for a service used example, and where the handle latches the pan to the bottom of the pot, the strap guide popped off due to shoddy install ! (hey Heinrich, feed those slaves better and your mess kits won't have parts falling off of them in the field!) No tricks or gimmicks, buy it or not, no drama. Look at the crap other people are selling. I looked at many ! Junk condition, , fakes and also stuff that is not WW2 German made and issued.

>Nice and RARE German Late War Cable Laying Packframe Reel. a Simplified version , compared to the over complicated original technical marvel they started with. These are usually really beat up and missing most of their paint, and with the leather being in bad shape. This is by far the best one I ever saw, so I had it in my combat communications equipment collection for the last 30+ years. I cannot find a single example ANYWHERE to compare prices, they simply are not available in the market. I searched in English and in German! So I will take $375, which is far less than I believe it is worth. This is Museum stuff, not common canteens and bread bags!

A Pair of Wehrmacht Ankle Gaiters. These are marked on the leather. They show some storage and and rust to the metal. Eagle Arms found a whole box of these 20 years ago and I got to pick out the best about 15 pairs. They are really hard to find. The leather straps on some are fragile or stiff. Fine examples for display with your field gear! The pictures are an example of the sets I have. I have 4 matched sets all found together. The set you receive will be whichever pair is on the top of the stack when you order them.

The inner lid has coin check mechanism, and the bottom is marked with the maker's information -- "M. Westermann & Co., G.m.b.H, Neheim-Ruhr 43" with the "WESCO" logo. I'm assuming that "43" was the year of manufacturing of the can. The red lacquer finish is about 99% intact. The can is in great condition with just a couple of minor dents and dings. Three vintage, original World War One era metal match stick holders. One displaying a tin photo of Von Hindenburg; one with embossed German soldiers wearing spiked helmets; and one with an embossed "Gott Mit Uns" insignia! Reverse sides are blank. All are in good condition (considering 100 years old) with surface wear, chips, stains and some minor rust spots. A nice grouping for the Imperial German collector! Note: The photo image of Von Hindenburg is much clearer than scan shows. Flash caused it to shine.

In a very good condition and rare to find , especially with poles etc. A very nice condition US WW2 Mountain Troops 2-man Tent. The tent is the standard issue government made pattern, not some surplus store knock off. It has an integral floor a ventilation duct near the top on both ends ( to deal with heater fumes) and a windproof entry opening. The tent is maker marked. It does show light age and use, and comes with the original 3-section wooden poles and tent pegs. Very rare and a nice item for display, Re-enactment or static show. So here are pictures from some other guy who bothered. Mine is basically this same tent. (He wants 400 Euros plus shipping from EU! If anybody IS Serious I have a half dozen US Mountain and Ski Troopers head to toe, and Skis / poles, Rucksacks, etc. https://olive-drab.com/od_soldiers_gear_mountain_tent.php Again for the impaired, My tent is not pictured, just one like it, contact me if interested in a rare piece of mountain trooper gear!

These original US Army Spalding marked 1917 dated saddlebags are 100+ year old M1904/1917 2nd pattern bags, with the overlapping reinforced center joint. The saddle bags are the proper M1924 conversion, with the outside pocket added. They are made of heavy top grain saddle grade cowhide , supple, fine, and original in every respect. The flaps, with an embossed "US", and bags are pebble grain patterned. Included, are the canvas bag liners (one with utensil pockets) CANVAS LINERS: Good condition - no tears - small minor stains. There was a very similar example on the Collector's Guild for $859, But it and another for $729 have both now been sold. I can send more pictures and even give it a proper cleaning. Nice and RARE German Early War Cable Laying Pack frame Reel. You saw them using this in Enemy At The Gates! This is the over complicated original technical marvel they started the war with. These are usually really beat up and missing most of their paint, and with the leather being in bad shape. This is by far the best one I ever saw, so I had it in my combat communications equipment collection for the last 35+ years. This is functionable, and as shown includes the leather activator strap and the removable/stowable (In the built in provided pouch) Crank Handle for winding cables back on to the reel. Accurate intelligence and secure lines of communication are crucial elements to all army?s in the field and during WWII each division in the German Army had an integral Signals unit. The Sign

WW2 US ARMY LANGUAGE GUIDES These are the rare ones, not just the 3 enemy Nations and France. But the whole set acquired from an OSS Man who co-ordinated a language school in England attended by all sorts of troops and agents from many nations which were recruited and trained for subversion and sabotage. These are $25 each, and there are many I have NEVER Seen another example of having attended over 250 militaria shows. Some of the more common ones were issued in huge numbers to troops going into combat areas.

This buckle is gilded gold on a very heavy base weighing 75 grams (2.65 oz). It is 1.85" (47 mm) across the buckle. It is unmarked, unworn, and in extremely fine condition. Glass case will be included for free as it came with the buckle. I purchased it in 2001 from Mr.
