Don't be fooled. It's easy to build a site that makes you look like a big time dealer. Just load it up with pics of rare militaria that you don't own and then mark it all "sold". The collectors will think you're a real player and be so impressed they'll keep coming back to see your latest treasure... Oops! Just missed out on that one too! We don't want our site to be like that.
No dealer gets a lot of "rare" items. Why? Because they are rare. Try not to be too impressed by what you could "almost" buy. And please delete your ads when the items are sold.
In general, the manufacturers of visor caps seldom installed maker matching sets of metal cap insignia.
These have been selected from examples found decades in the past, and may or may not have been from the same cap originally. Cap makers generally ordered more of either without being concerned they were matching makers. That is a "collector fetish"
They are all paired up with very similar cosmetic appearance.
All retain their original prongs, and offer a rare opportunity to restore an original cap properly, or to have a proper "set" in among their insignia.
I also have 22 other various original eagles, and a few loose skulls.
I also have a few items missing one or more prongs. ALL of mine are in very presentable visual condition.
I do not own and "Dug Up" crap
This is not a fire sale or the dumping of these expensive, in demand original SS Insignia.
If bargain hunting is your game, please dribble on down the court and score elsewhere.
If you are serious about having solid

Offered for sale is a recent Attic estate find.....A beautiful early Rosa Pink pipped Panzer Officers visor cap by Pekuro ..... Early piping with larger piping to crown....all bullion hand applied insignia....Ribbed Tricot material..... No holes to body of cap....however slightly salty.....little moth nip to front piping above cockade.... Has its original early bullion chin cord.....Front vulcan fiber visor shows no spidering or cracking and still retains its high gloss appearance ....under visor is smooth as many are. NOT all under visors had checkering for you newbies out there.....plainly noted in many headgear books..! Interior of cap does show some wear to leather sweat band with some cracking and a few tears....should be handled with TLC.... Yellow gold lining loosely stitched in inside .....old celluloid sweat shield long removed most likely during the period as it made your head sweat..! From the looks of this rare cap it looks field worn to me.....not some parade cap...
Very nice crusher visor cap with wear. Some loss to piping around the bottom. Faded and visor is cracked. Maker tag inside in good shape made by B Hamkens of Hamburg. Has another mark that is faded out on the inside of the sweatband. Salty addition to a WH uniform.
These cords are for sale as a group ($ 60.00) or individually (15.00). There are two silver ones - one is in very little use condition, the second has either turned a darker color or is dirty. You can see the original silver color on the inside of the loops. For hats that look 70 years old, this is the best choice. I believe the yellow one is yellow, not gold. It's got a couple of loose threads on the knots. The slides and loops are in very good condition. This cord shows some signs of darkening, but not near the extent of the silver one. The last one is green and white. In very good to excellent condition.
Individually or as a group the price includes First Class USPS Shipping to US addresses.
This is an early ,,Teller" style gaberdine peaked cap that has been owner-modified to mimic a crusher style peaked cap. This was commonly done in the field to achieve that jaunty, veteran look. This cap has the fine silver wire weave eagle and wreath/cockade. The wreath and the eagle appear to be meticulously hand applied. Both have that "settled in" look one would expect (and hope) to see in a 85 year old cap. The sweatband is genuine leather, and is ink-stamped on the underside. The stamp is difficult to read, but is oblong with a date of 1938. That's all I can make out. There are a few stitches of non-matching green thread applied in a couple of very small areas on the inside of the sweat band to replace failed factory thread, but that is the only detractor. The leather is complete, still quite soft, and pliable. The center stiffener has been broken (not removed) and the sides on either side of the peak have been pinched in. The resultant "crusher peak" has been preserved all this

Heer Officer Cap Bullion Wreath #2 Take a close look at the condition!
Of course if your cap is crappy, this beauty is probably too nice.
Excellent Plus condition, well marked by maker on the rear.
Sure there are cheaper ones, even fakes of it! This example is here, now, tick tock.
70+ years old, near mint condition, OFFICER's HAND EMBROIDERED, no mothing, no corrosion, 4 $20s ... 568 views (Supposedly "collectors") ... 2 + years listed .... baffling ... and a perfect example of why thousands of items don't get listed here. 15 years ago's price, and still the shoppers look for cheaper.
I am selling off my nearly forty year collection of 1,600+ pieces of mixed Third Reich Militaria. I will do my best to inform you of the provenance of each piece if I know it. Some pieces will not be guaranteed because there are simply too many fakes. If they ARE NOT guaranteed it will be stated in the description.
This is a Deutsches Rotes Kreuz (DRK) EM Schirmmutze Visor Cap (Deutsches Rotes Kreuz Schirmmutze fur Mannschaften und Unterfuhrer, um 1939). This is a stone gray visor cap with black lugs, complete with all effects, enameled sovereign eagle, oak leaf wreath in the special version (closed), cockade, and leather chin strap (shows wear). This cap was issued prior to 1939. It has a black lacquered Vulcanfiber visor which has a raised lip near the forward edge. The interior of the cap is fully lined in woven golden rayon. The interior crown lining has a clear original celluloid trapezoid which is fully intact, but unmarked and unnamed. There is no size marking that I ca

This is a National Socialist German Navy Federation (NSDMB) Marine Kyffhauserbund NOC's Visor Cap (Nationalsozialistischer Deutscher Marinebund (NSDMB) dunkelblaue Schirmmutze fur ehemalige Angehorige der Kriegsmarine). This is a dark blue peaked cap in the shape of a saddle, with gold-plated metal naval effects, black grosgrain ribbon, black patent leather straps. Inside is a gray leather sweat band and blue silk lining (some soiling to the silk as it has been wet some time), with the complete "1786 Kyffhausermutze" celluloid trapezoid. The trapezoid is also marked "GESETZLICH GESCHUTZT 38." I'm assuming that the "38" is for the year 1938. The
Original German Army General Schirmmuetze (service cap) produced by EREL, size 56 1/2. It has been in my collection since 1968; previous to that it had been in the possession of its "liberator". This appears by construction, to be an EREL PRIVAT; unfortunately the sweat diamond is missing. Typical "EREL PATENT STIRNSCHUTZ" embossed in the leather sweatband.
This particular cap has the gilt insignia authorized in 1943. I believe that the original owner changed out the standard aluminum eagle and cockade with the gilt insignia, as faint traces of a two prong eagle appear to be on the cap behind the gilt center vertical needle (prong) eagle by Assmann & Soehne. This was quite common practice. The needle has been repaired, a wartime repair, as far as I have been able to ascertain. The aluminum eagle may be a Kriegsmarine replacement based on the vertical single needle configuration, and the 1941 date. The quality of the gilt is exceptional. I can only assume that the wreath and cockade
Only a few known examples of this visor, much rarer than an SS. In great shape, two small moth holes on top, sweatband in good shape, a very rare piece. The postschutz came under the authority of the SS for wire tapping and Reich security measures. A great addition to your visor collection or to display with your postschutz dagger.
Nice conditioned Australian Military Forces bush hat as shown in photos. Hat badge reads: Australian Commonwealth Military Forces". Nice item for a display.
For your consideration, a nicely marked Luftwaffe EM visor hat. Marked Fewegla Deutfche Nertarbeit Erst Klassig in the diamond. Sweatband in good shape. No mothing, and excellent conditioned hat. A nice addition for the Luftwaffe collector
