A rare type. This M-35 double decal was brought in and serviced for wartime use after France. It received a thick matte field grey repaint and the national colors shield was also separately carefully concealed at a later time. Just a couple very minor chips to the eagle decal, which rates about 97% condition. The shell size is a 60 and the chinstrap is well marked. The liner is also in almost mint condition. An exceptional example of this type. You will wait years to find another in this condition, with all the features undamaged.

Something few vets found interesting or brought back. Africa was the first contact, and there was years ahead. Lugging around a couple pounds, did not fit the program. Grabbing up some insignia, a cool looking tan "ski cap", or a buckle (easily mailed home) was far more often done. What the Arabs did not scavenge, our military piled up and burned.

A beautiful Ofiicer's Army dagger, manufactured by Eickhorn, and it is in great condition . This has not been prettied up, just lightly wiped down. No etched fingerprints on this one. Uncleaded! The Blade is in great shape with very light signs of its 70-80 years of age. not rusty or pitted! The blade has no No plating loss. Eickhorn's Crossguard, has the best looking eagle of any HEER Army Officer dagger in my estimation. The Fittings show some very moderate handling age. The correct early Eickhorn scabbard is in very fine condition, with no "Ugly "train car" dents or seriously distracting issues. The Silver plated finish remains uncleaned , and shows a very light patina . Nice undamaged Ivoroid grip / handle, with no chips or cracks like so many do have! The suspension strap Hanger is original to this fine artifact.

Beautiful, private-purchase heer artillery senior NCO ( oberfeldwebel ) service tunic. Fine grade field-gray premium gabardine wool construction with machine-embroidered breast eagle. Nice unteroffizier (NCO) braid running around the collar and shoulder straps. Bevo woven artillery specialty badge sewn above the left sleeve cuff. Regimental unit number "23" on the shoulder straps. Tailor tag in the collar and in the pocket. Identified and dated. Looks fantastic on a mannequin torso. Exceptional condition. 1 tiny moth right on the right side of the waist area. Some slight wear and age showing inside the tunic. some minor blemish to the lining from the missing integral buckle. (soldier often removed these useless "old fashioned idea" buckles as they came undone during wear and required unbuttoning the tunic and removing belt etc. just to re-buckle, and then ... yeah, again! Merde!

Offered here are approximately 160 personal, unpublished photos from a Wehrmacht soldier on the initial march into Russia and a year, or so, following. Judging from some of the photos, it appears this soldier may have been assigned to a propaganda or newspaper company. There are a wide variety of photographs included which show some combat action, explosions and burning buildings, combat damage and a few burials and gravesites. Also included, however, are many photos of this particular soldier involved in camp life and while billeted. Many shots show him with comrades, both posed and spontaneous, while involved in everyday life of soldiers behind the front. A few photos show the soldier setting type and working with a what appears to be a small printing press. Many of the photos are candid, true-life images and include sightseeing outings. A few have brief, hand-written notations on the rear telling of date and general location. This group of photos offer a well-rounded and abundant

Only Condor Legion Beret I have come across. Obtained from a noted dealer in Michigan in the 90's along with a Condor Legion Tank Badge (which I still have as well if interested) No markings to the beret, top of beret confirms with circular design of the later panzer beret. No mothing. Has a small tassel on top. Interesting display for Condor Legion. Apparently used by Spanish volunteers of the Legion if encountered without swastika. Ref. page 72 of the Legion Condor book by Roger Bender. Met him many times in San Jose at military shows, he really enjoyed my Art and Science Prize, only one he had encountered.

A formal KC document awarded to Captain Franz Buchner of the 5th Infantry Company on the Leningrad front. Captain Buchner was born in Hungary and served the German cause faithfully in obtaining the Knight's Cross. Ironically, the Captain died less than 2 months later and his remains have not been found. Information regarding the Captain will be forwarded with the document. Document shows wear, and the spine of the cassette is separated. However, formal KC documents are much rarer than the actual medal as few were issued later in the war due to the amount of time to produce one and the number issued as the war continued. A great addition to a KC collection and a tribute to a noble warrior. Obtained from a noted auction house some years back that specializes in autographed documents. The Frieda Thiersch is present on the back cover of the cassette. A fairly early document as some formal documents have been found and not signed by Hitler. The cassette can be found, in fact the s
