Shortly after formation, personnel serving in the Georgian Legion were issued an identifying national sleeve shield to be worn on the upper right sleeve of the field uniform. This is a German manufactured, black wool construction, flat topped, rounded bottom, shield shape base features a machine embroidered red shield with the black, double headed, Albanian eagle, with fanned wings and white eye detailing.
