LAH CUFF TITLE. A fine original variant, or private purchase, LAH officers cuff title. Beautiful Sutterlin script Adolf Hitler wire work on a base with wider silver bands top and bottom than the norm. There were many variants of the LAH cuff titles as many were local made and not RZM standards. Reverse has a blue colored reinforcement for the wire work, which is covered with black cloth. Shows minor age oxidation to the silver work, but still a fine SS cuff title. I prefer postal money orders, but will accept Paypal F&F or personal checks (must clear the bank before shipping) I will consider realistic offers. Selling off the last of my 50+ year collection. 3 day return option, buyer pays return shipping. USA sales only.

DESCRIPTION:
Full length Black Rayon Backing with features Silver flat wire thread BeVo machine woven
Early pattern Gothic script ORDENSBURGEN (Order Castles).
History:
The Ordensburgen (order castles) were elite schools for HJ Youth members who were destined to become part of the NSDAP elite. They were even more prestigious than the NPEA schools. There were four Ordensburgen: Krossinsee, Sonthofen, Vogelsang, and Marienburg. Approximately 1000 students and 500 staff were stationed at each school. Students were trained for a duration of one year.
There were four cuff titles of which each bore one of the names of the four Ordensburgen, while a fifth cuff title features the word "Ordensburgen" itself. This latter cuff title was probably worn by general staff members involved in the overall Ordensburgen educational system, but not necessarily stationed at one of the castles themselves.
It appears that initially, these cuff titles were black with silver letters, w
This is a mint Bevo pattern Westland cufftitle, issued to Belgian formations in the Waffen-SS. Westland was a premier regiment of the Wiking Panzer division, with much combat in Russia during its career.
This is an excellent condition original full-length example, of the SS-Kriegsberichter cufftitle. These individuals were in the thick of the front line fighting, as easily seen on episodes of German home-front newsreels from the war (for example, ?Die Deutsche Wochenschau? on YouTube). There were not many correspondents, and these cufftitles can be considered among the less common produced. While everyone desires the combat formations, these should also be taken into account as part of the front line conflict.
